PEAR TEA CAKE 2 medium pears 60 gm butter ½ cup castor sugar 1 tspn vanilla essence 1 egg 1¼ cups self-raising flour ½ tspn cinnamon ¼ cup milk 2 tblspn brown sugar 1. Grease 20cm round cake pan, line base with paper 2. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla essence, then add egg and beat 3. Stir in flour, cinnamon and milk (in 2 batches) 4.
