MEAT LOAF (serves 6) 500g minced beef 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 onion, finely chopped 1 large carrot, grated 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs ½ teaspoon salt ground pepper ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ground ginger 2 tablespoons oil 250g hazelnuts, chopped fresh herbs such as parsley, thyme, rosemary and basil, finely chopped Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
